The Foreign Languages Centre at the University of Ioannina, Greece (http://flc.unit.uoi.gr) is putting together a new course of Dutch language for beginners.
The aim of the course is to offer Dutch language lessons at A1 level to our students in Ioannina. The lessons are to be delivered via Skype by individuals with an educational background in linguistics and/or an interest in foreign language teaching.
The working language of our course is English.
This course is also part of a research program that investigates effectiveness in foreign language learning in distance learning. The course is implemented as part of a collaboration with partners from Belgium in the context of promoting the European dimension in education, the use of new technologies and the transnational mobility and cooperation between educational institutions.
The course will be concluded with the visit of colleagues from BE and a meeting with guest speakers from the collaborating parties that will take place in Ioannina in early March along with other events promoting intercultural partnership and networking.
